PREPARATION:

01 Inventory in origin: we take a full inventory including the dimensions of the furniture to be moved and calculate the space needed to relocate.

02  Destination pre-visit: we visit your new home in order to assess the available space and possible issues, as well as the state of the dwelling in order to mitigate problems on unpacking day. We ensure a thorough house clean on the day of the move.

03 Relocation Plan: we relocate your furniture and personal belongings over a copy of your house plan of your new home and get your approval.

04  Purchasing budget: We plan a budget to manage purchases and get your approval.

THE MOVE:

We are on site from the start and this is what we do:

01 Before the event: Together with the client we pre-select items and agree on their final destination. We then label everything to make unloading easier.

02 Labelling: Label boxes in origin for their relocation in destination. On site supervision of the move so that everything is packed to our unpacking specifications in the final destination.

UNLOADING AND UNPACKING:

01  Pre-move clean: A few days before the move we will instruct cleaning staff to have everything clean for the big day.

02  Removal van reception: We’re on site when the movers arrive to supervise the unloading and the removal of protective packaging.

03  Help in relocating furniture following the agreed plan: furniture, pictures, and other items.

04  Box unpacking: once the main furniture has been put in place boxes can then be unpacked, in an orderly and careful way.

In principle yes, although logically we prefer to work with those who give us more guarantees due to size, fleet, testimonials, the disposition of the movers, etc.

Through our experience with working with them, we are inclined to recommend Grupo AMYGO for their professional work ethic and reliability. However, we don’t rule out other firms who we have also worked with satisfactorily.

What about the budget?

Given that our services are personalised and subject to many variables – the characteristics of the home, the final volume, and the service the client wants to contract in origin and destination – our quotes are tailor-made in situ directly with the client.

What is your mission within House Move Unpacking Service Turnkey?

Basically, our work starts “before” the move (30%) but is fundamentally carried our “after” the move (70%) with the arrival of the removal vans.

We are not responsible for the move – it’s not our job. The client chooses the removal firm that most adapts to their needs and we coordinate everything so that your belongings leave origin in the way you want to find them in destination. In fact, our work primarily focuses on relocating your belongings in destination but we need to control and organise the packing of your belongings in origin.

Do you actually come to the house to measure up?

Yes. Before you move we pay you a visit – if possible while the Removal firm is there – to take measurement of every piece of furniture and make a simple inventory. Once we are clear about where every large and medium sized item (furniture, pictures, lamps, tables, sofas, etc.) is going to go we just follow the guidelines and do our best as always.

Do you really leave absolutely everything in its place?

Yes. We leave absolutely everything in its place – from cleaning products to your clothes – all neatly folded in drawers and well organized according to our professional criteria. You can contract the complete service or just part of it.

Are you responsible for the House Move Turnkey Service and Insurance?

No, we’re not. We are only responsible for relocating your belongings in your new home and for leaving it clean and organized. Our contract is exclusive and separate from the contract you will have with the Removal Firm.

Do you clean our new home after the Move?

We usually arrange for a cleaning firm or for your own Domestic Staff to clean your new home after agreeing with you the option that best meets your needs.

Our services can be contracted individually and all of them include a follow-up stage over a set period of time in order to consolidate the service.
